About bb.q Chicken Cary

The bb.q in our name stands for "Best of the Best Quality", and that's exactly what you can expect from every one of our restaurants. Our Korean fried chickenπŸ— is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you've tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. It's a tremendous amount of work, but it's all worth it when you take that first bite.

This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

We had a fantastic and personable server to kick things off. Our questions were answered beautifully. The food was exceptional when it comes to the wings and ddeok. The ramen was good for flavor though the noodles may not be what you're looking for. It is a little pricey, however, the quality, portion sizes, and service make it entirely worthwhile. If you're looking for crispy wings with solid flavors especially, this is a great place to go! And the ddeok-boki is nothing to sneeze at either. Again, would highly recommend.

Staff was incredibly nice! We got the cheesling fries and those were surprisingly sweeter and not nearly as cheesy tasting as I expected, but the texture of that (as well as their so deok so deok and fried chicken) was nice and crispy. Their chicken fried rice was very flavorful too.

Great customer service, clean environment. Everyone was so friendly. This was my third time there my daughter and I went when my son came home. He’s in a navy and deployed in Japan. I sent a picture of my chicken wings to both my kids. My daughter is at air traffic controller in Georgia and we had a great time together before my son went back to Japan. But we love it there. I was by myself yesterday, so I got mine to go

I recently visited BB.Q Chicken, and I found it to be a solid experience with plenty of room for growth. The service was one of the standout features: sincere, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It made the meal more enjoyable, and I felt well taken care of throughout my visit. The draft Asahi beer was refreshing and paired nicely with the meal. As for the food, the chicken wings were decently fried with a good crispy texture, but unfortunately, I found the special sauce chicken to be a bit over-sauced, particularly on the sweeter side. I opted for the secret sauce and the spicy original wings, and while the flavors were fresh, the sweetness was a bit overwhelming, even for the spicy original flavoring - which did not seemed over-sauced. The seasoning kind of overshadowed the natural flavors of the chicken, and I think a bit more balance, perhaps dialing back on the sweetness, would elevate the dish. This could be partially on me for not asking more questions about the sauce options, so I’m curious to explore the menu further and see what other savory options are available. I’m optimistic that if the sauces were toned down or more balanced, these wings could be really impressiv
